My name is “Greta”, AKA “Gretsky”                                                                                         I am a kind & caring clinician who believes whole heartedly in a personalised, professional but fun approach to patient care.                                                                   Known affectionately as “The Sports’ Hygienist”                                                                 I will endeavour to ensure you stay fit for life from your head to your toes having a full body, holistic & compassionate way of working.

My business “Ain’t No Fairies”, which is based at Portland Street Dental & Implant Clinic, Colosseum Dental UK, Aberystwyth, in Beautiful Wales comprises of dental hygiene treatments to optimise mouth care, nutrition & exercise consultations for the public & athletes, I am currently studying a post graduate level qualification with Dr Laurent Bannock CEO of “the IOPN” to increase my knowledge & skill as a  Performance Nutritionist. & take my nutrition practice to the next level.

I am also a Sports Massage Therapist, & do Educational Talks on Oral Health, Nutrition for Sport Performance & Injury Prevention.

I work with a referral network of experts & highly qualified doctors & practitioners so that anyone can access the care & treatment they may need from Trauma Counselling & Disordered Eating, Gut Issues such as IBS,Coeliac disease & Leaky Gut Syndrome, Sports Injury Consultation , Chronic Pain Management & REDS rehabilitation.

Originally I was born in Yorkshire but I have also lived “up north” and “down south & am currently living “out in the wild west!!

. I enjoy the outdoors, and love animals  – I have two adopted donkeys called

“Eeyore ”& “Pooh”.

Fitness & Adventure, feature heavily in my life as do many different sports both watching and participating including wild swimming, surfing, flying, rowing a Celtic longboat, paddling a kayak in a bit of white water, Running, Hiking, Strength & Conditioning, Yin Yoga & a Sunset or Moon & Stars Mountain Meditation. 

I love watching rugby, football & athletics and know how to make anything from a  proper cup of tea, A Never Second C90 Sports Drink to a perfect Gin & Tonic from the famous “Gretskys’ Gin Joint” I also love nature photography or just photographing anything that is beautiful, art & comedy & going for barefoot sand runs & long coastal walks in the gentle sea breeze

I have worked in many dental practices over the last 40 years including a placement with the dental defence agency where I did military training & have treated a whole host of different people, patients & sporting hero’s during that time from all walks of life.

I love having face to face contact with people and I’d rather see you from a distance than those impersonal zoom calls which I know we have to do sometimes but just isn’t the same!

I am passionate about working with patients so we can achieve the best clinical outcomes and hopefully assist you in keeping your teeth for life.
